Sacrament of Confirmation 2024-25
Classes Begin
August 18th
This year's Confirmation classes will be for 8th-grade students. 7th-grade students will be considered as pre-confirmands. Classes this year will be held on Sunday afternoons from1:30-3:00 p.m.
Registration has begun. You may register your students after Masses or in the parish office during business hours. The registration cost for Confirmation is $20 per student.
You may print the registration form here and bring it to Mass or to the parish office.
Confirmation Registration to Print
Students will need a copy of their Baptism and First Communion Certificate for Confirmation Registration. If your child received those sacraments at Our Lady of Grace those copies will not be needed. A member of the Confirmation Team will look up that information.
*Any student who has not yet received the Sacrament of Baptism will need to receive that Sacrament before receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. Parents need to register and attend a Baptism class before Christmas to avoid delays in their child receiving their Sacraments. Please call the office or register online for a Baptism Class as soon as possible. A copy of a birth certificate will be needed before Baptism.

Information above must be submitted when you register. You may bring certificates to the office and we will make copies or you may email them to

* If you have a student who received a sacrament at Our Lady of Grace you may let Soyla Castillo, from the confirmation team, know and she will look up the required information.Baptism and/or 1st Holy Communion
Students who have not received either their Baptism and/or their First Holy Communion sacraments will be required to attend RCIC class plus their regular grade class in order to meet the sacramental requirements. Please visit with Sal Sifuentes about when these classes will meet.

Students will focus on faith-based lessons/getting to know the bible & the order of Mass.
6th-8th Grade (Middle School) is our EDGE program.
EDGE will meet every Sunday from 3:15 pm - 4:45 p.m.
1st Year Confirmation (EDGE) - Will Meet on Sunday afternoons from 3:15-4:45 p.m.
7th Grade EDGE students are considered to be 1st year Confirmation Students.
Students will focus on faith-based lessons, prayers and preparation for confirmation classes.
First-year confirmation students will be focusing on The Gifts & Fruits of the Holy Spirit & Sants.2nd Year Confirmation - Second year confirmation is for 8th graders and
will meet on Sunday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Second-year confirmation students will continue focusing on The Gifts & Fruits of the Holy Spirit.

Please Note
- If your youth is in the 8th grade and has not had any of their sacraments he/she will have to participate in the Baptismal/1st Communion class plus 1st Year Confirmation Class. After participating in both these classes they will be in line with the sacrament of confirmation and can move forward next year to their 2nd Year Confirmation Class.
